Please join 21st Century Learning and presenter Bob Iseminger for a hands-on Differentiated Instruction Workshop. Drawing from what real teachers do to incorporate differentiation with their students, this workshop will provide you with authentic activities and support materials that can be used in every classroom.
As a result of participating and fully engaging in this workshop, participants will:
- Understand the basic principles related to differentiation
- Examine the diverse experiences that this generation of students brings to our
classrooms and how effective differentiation strategies can address these
differences
- Investigate the ways our brains process information and how differentiation
can address these processing needs
- Model activities and strategies that differentiate how teachers help their students
make sense of standard course of study content. The focus of these differentiated
process tasks is to engage students in learning outside of the text.
- Using tools that build student product choices into assignments
- Leave the workshop with practical strategies that you can use immediately
